Hi – my name is Anne and this story is about me, my husband Leif Erik and our Polynesian double canoe BareBare. Leif Erik came up with this crazy idea. With bright blue eyes he looked into mine, even brighter and bluer and exclaimed: «Let's build a simple catamaran, put it in a container and send it from ice cold Norway to Tahiti in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.» This way we could start sailing in paradise. I said: «What a crazy idea – let’s do it»!

So, this is the adventure of building and sailing BareBare.

And the story starts when finally coming back after three years of pandemic.
